SAVE THE DATES - Sept. 2014

It is that time again, reunion time!!!!!  Tom and I are busy thinking of stuff to show and do in Southern California - near our home in Huntington Beach.

Airports - Long Beach, John Wayne(orange county) or LAX.  All three have roads that lead to us without touching the freeways - but truthfully the freeways are usually faster.

We are calling and researching local lodging and will provide that information here.

I will send out email blast that stuff has been added to the blog.  We haven't touched this blog since Wyoming and things have changed with blogspot.  I will be calling my trusty young person for some help and then we will have the new and improved blog.

I am hoping many and all will participate and share.  We know Wes has interesting stuff to share and some of us have grandkids growing or trip they have taken.

After I write and tell you of the update please write and tell me you took a look and have us on your calendar.

Reunion Time - yeah!!

Scheduled Events-
Dinner at 6:30 both Friday and Saturday at Reunion Central. (Ed and Carolyn's home).
Brunch on Sunday at 10:30 am.

It is reported that Cabin Creek Inn has a nice breakfast. Many of us are staying at Cabin Creek Inn. Don't forget bathing suits as there is a pool at Cabin Creek Inn.

Reunion Central will be open all week so don't wait for meals. Things to do at Ed and Carolyn's include but not limited to: pool, karaoke, craft projects, sitting and watching wildlife including Eagles way up the mountain, relaxing, golf, hiking, visiting and talking.

Jackson Hole Airport is a minimum of 1 1/2 hr away, depending on road work. Need to be airport at least 1 hour before flight. Family members have lost their seat assignment due to being held up by road work.

Jackson Hole is about 1 hr. away.

Visiting Yellowstone is an all day adventure. Carolyn recommends entering park from Jackson and exiting at West Entrance, driving down through Idaho. Many great vistas.

Golf is "on the ranch". Lots of hiking and walking.

Practice reunion

We attended a multi high school reunion this August. It was held in Reno - central, big planes fly in from afar and the Atlantis Hotel and Casino had something to keep every bodies interest.
Ed still had the bandage on his head from his surgury but it just looked like a misplaced name tag.

Our reunion is only like 10 months away - Carolyn and Ed have been busy tidying up the forest. It will be great.

Send your stories and photos to either Ed or joanell - we will post
